The samples are in "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Studio Instruments". I don't use the default C:\Program Files\VSTPlugIns anyway, but instead of pointing REAPER at the Cakewalk\VstPlugins folder I just put copies of the dlls in my own VST2 location.īTW no matter where you put the dlls, the supporting files (samples etc) have to remain in place so that the dlls can find them. I think the Cakewalk\VstPlugins folder is just a backup and not even where CbB looks for the dlls. I think that as well as in C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\VstPlugins you'll also find copies of the dlls in the usual default C:\Program Files\VSTPlugIns. Yes, the instruments work in REAPER fine. In CbB it works as a standalone plugin but also provides reverb modules within TH3,īUT, in REAPER it does not work at all.it loads, but you get a message saying only licensed for Sonar, and nothing works. I think you'll find that in REAPER TH3 only works in Demo mode, whereas in CbB it works in 'TH3 Cakewalk' mode (which is limited but not demo).īreverb is actually an Overloud thing.
